JobCHEER is an on-site and online Job ClearingHouse for Education and Employment Resources focusing on the Southeastern Michigan community.

Thanks to a grant from the Ford Motor Company Fund, Madonna University faculty coordinated development of a Web site that aggregates a number of job search sites, making it easier for Michiganders to find job openings. In addition, the grant provided for a JobCHEER office on Madonna's Livonia campus, where the unemployed can use the computers to access the web site and search for jobs. Free career workshops to improve job search strategies or hone resume writing and interviewing skills also are offered through JobCHEER at Madonna.
