    Valentine's Day on a Budget
Having trouble finding the perfect Valentine's Day gift? With a little creativity you can let your Valentine know how much you care about them without breaking the bank.

    1. Make a candlelight dinner and use romantic notes spread around the house to lure your Valentine to the dinner spot. Make sure each "destination" along the way has some special treat or surprise waiting for them along with the next note.

    2. Buy an "old school" board game or buy a customizable game board that you have personalized and play the game by candlelight. After dinner set up some candles, a bottle of wine, romantic music. Don't forget the chocolates!

    3. Collect pictures and mementos of fun times you've had together in a pretty box and share in the memories after a romantic dinner.

    4. The week before Valentine's Day, start bringing a camera and fancy journal with you everywhere you go and take a picture when you see something that reminds you of your Valentine. Make sure you write down why you thought of them. On Valentine's Day, share all your photos and journal and let them know how much you think about them during the course of the day. It's something that you can keep and share many times.
