Could Beyonce and Jay-Z be finally tying the knot? According to People.com the couple took out a marriage license in New York.
"It was just the two of them," an eyewitness reportedly told the site. "They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy." I guess Jay is finally over Rihanna. Oh yea that's right, she's with Chris Brown now
eventhough they still try to deny it. [Source]
Usher
will be releasing his long awaited album Here I stand on May 27th. The album has been pushed up from it's earlier announced release date in June to accommodate the increasing demand from his fans. Personally I have yet to hear anything that would warrant me to go out and buy this album so I will be checking for some other songs to get leaked to see what else he might have to offer. [Source]

It hasn't been a good week for Elvis but it's been a great one for Mariah Carey and Madonna. Now with her 18th #1 hit Mariah has passed Elvis for the second place spot for the most #1's in the rock era. Her latest single "Touch my body" made a huge leap from 15-1 on the Billboard's Hot 100. At this point she is only two away from tying the Beatles' record of 20 #1's. Eventhough I haven't heard the album yet, I'm pretty sure she has a few more #1 singles on it.
Madonna also gave Elvis an upset this week when she passed his record of the most top 10s in the rock era. Her new single "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake and produced by the great Timbaland, made a huge jump from 68-3 which made her 37th top 10 hit. [Source]

is probably somewhere partying or making some poor kids walk in the cold and get him some cheesecake. Bad Boy Records has been dominating the top of the Billboard charts these past two weeks as his new group Day26 and established girl group Danity Kane hold the top two spots respectively. Day26's debut self-titled album sold 190,000 copies which secured them the No. 1 spot and gave them the highest charted debut by a male group since D12's Devil's Night in 2001. Oh and for the record, just as I in Tid Bits 14 we would see a significant sales decline from Danity Kane in the week following their album release. Well the verdict is in and we see a whopping 62% sales decrease and a move from 1-4 in their chart position. I told you people would realize how horrible the album really is. [Source]
Who knew but G-Unit is actually still around! It seems as though they are going to release an album Shoot to Kill June 24th. New releases by The Game, Nelly and Ne-Yo will also be released on that day. [Source]
