Having just released their sophomore album last week, Danity Kane finds themselves on top of the charts. Their new album Welcome to the Doll House debuted at #1 with 236,000 units sold. This is said to be the biggest first week album sales by a female pop or R&B group since Destiny's Child in 2001. Are there really any other girl groups out there? The album is also said to be the second biggest-selling debut this far and places them in the history books as the first female group to debut at No.1 with a debut and sophomore album. Personally I don't see this as anything major because they weren't going up against any big name artist who released an album this same week nor will the sales continue as I'm sure we will see a significant decline once people actually start hearing the album. Don't say I didn't tell you so. Britney Spears is gearing up for a comeback and it's obviously working. She has tarnished her name so much to the point that people actually feel sorry for her. Now when she presents herself as perfectly sane everyone will be happy for her and will want to see her successful once again. Brilliant marketing scheme by her team! Spears who made a guest appearance on the show "How I Met Your Mother" gave the sitcom it's highest ratings ever. If you missed it, head over to your brand new CBS Video Network where you can watch full-length episodes of the show. [Source]
