TMZ is reporting that Oprah's LLC named Sophie's Penthouse purchased a Manhattan penthouse for $7.1 million. Just two weeks ago the penthouse was purchased and there are reports that none other than her best friend Gayle may be moving in. There was no comment given by Oprah. I couldn't even dream of having a house worth $7.1 million while Oprah is purchasing penthouses for that much. Good looking out O. I'm starting to think I need a rich friend. [Source]
Though rumors and speculation is amid, former NSYNC singer J.C. Chasez says he and "Gossip Girl" star Chase Crawford are just friends.
"For the record, we're both straight. We're not dating," Chasez said on Kiss-FM radio, Usmagazine.com reports. "The only time people usually see us together is in some type of photograph, so they just assume that it's like that." [Source]
According to RCA, Alicia Keys' "No One" is their first-ever gold-selling ringback tone. To date it has had over 500,000 downloads. For those that don't know, ringback tones are the songs you hear when you call someone and you hear a song playing. Alicia also racks up some pretty impressive stats with have sold 4.3 million mobile downloads which includes ringback tones, ringtones, full tracks and bundled offerings. [Source]
While every other American Idol runner-up has seemed to garner enough success to stay significant it looks like the lowly Blake Lewis needs to start controversy to keep his name in the minds of the public. Lewis could be heard on the radio last week talking about how much he disliked Sanjaya Malakar. He made statements that Sanjaya was a "disrespectful little kid" and that he was "disrespectful of peoples boundaries". At times he would lock him out during the tour claims Blake. On another station he was heard saying that he was never a fan of Sanjaya and that he should have never been on the show. "Why is this little kid that's just annoying on the show
