High School
was put on lockdown early Wednesday when a 22-year old Everett man flashed a gun at a student in the parking lot. The school notified the police that the alleged gunman was seen leaving the scene in a black Acura Integra. Police say there have been several vehicles that have been stolen from local high school parking lots and it was speculation that this might have been the case in this incident. Shortly after the incident had been reported a patrol officer spotted the car (which turned out to have been reported stolen) and the gunman was eventually stopped and booked into the Snohomish County Jail. I hear that local malls are beefing up security measures due to some recent violent activities that have taken place. As a result, Northgate mall does not allow people to wear hoods in the mall as to keep faces of visitors visible for cameras. You might want to fix that bad hair day before you try to go to the mall with a hood on.
Police are investigating an attempted robbery that lead to a man being stabbed in his lower abdomen early Friday morning. The man said he was parking his car outside of the Club Palisades apartments in Federal Way when he became the victim of an attempted robbery and stabbing. His injuries are not life-threatening. I used to live not too far from that place and all I can say is, this story does not surprise me. [Source]
If for some reason you still have studded tires on you have until April 5th to get them off. The deadline has been extended from the 1st. After the 5th you will receive a nice fine of $101. [Source]
A kid from Mukilteo will be spending 3 years in a California prison for a prank SWAT call. Apparently the teen hacked into a telephone network and was impersonating someone involved in the criminal act of murder and holding others in the house hostage. A SWAT team was dispatched to home of the randomly selected family with dozens of officers, dogs and a helicopter. This is just cruel. I'm all for a good prank but this is just a heartless. [Source]
