Sound Off! is the Pacific Northwest's largest under-age battle of the bands.  The Semi-Finals Round 3 took place at EMP/SFM on Saturday, 2/22, and featured local bands Deer City, Kusika, Shotty, and Man Down Medic.

CW 11's The Underground, was there to catch all the action. All the bands put on a great show, but in the end Man Down Medic came out on top to win the Sound off Semi-Finals 3.  Man Down Medic will be battling it out at EMP's sky church on March 1st with New Faces and The Next Door Neighbors as part of the Sound off finals.

Man Down Medic is a five-piece that features unique melodies composed with such instruments as violins, cellos, and synthesizer. Man Down Medic classifies them-selves as electro-pop. Jacob, Larissa, and Samuel are siblings who have been playing together for a very long time. There parents had them learn music at a very early age because they wanted their children to enjoy music as much as they did. Phil is one of their child hood friends who, "Basically came from our mom too", as Samuel puts it. They met Victor when he lost is wallet on the street of the U district. They did everything they could to find him and get his wallet back to him. Victor decided to take a year off from studying professional music at the Berklee School of Music to play with the band. 
 

I have to say Man Down Medic is very unique because it's not everyday you have a band that puts heavy medal beats to a classical style.
