The Beat: Random Rants & Raves
Aaron tells it like it is about some new and interesting entertainment news.

According to wikipedia.com: Stargate is a Norwegian record production and songwriting team, consisting of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen (often credited as Mikkel SE) working today in the genres of pop, R&B and hip hop.

The only reason why I am even bringing them up is because I need to make a point that me and one of my co-workers we're debating about. They happen to currently like the song "Tattoo" by Jordin Sparks. I on the other hand happen to despise it for the simple fact that is uses the same ol' recycled beat by this particular production team. Yes you have heard the beat plenty of times before I'm sure, Beyonce's "Irreplaceable", Ne-Yo's "Go on girl", Chris Brown's "With you", Leona Lewis' "Angel" and yet again in Rihanna's "Good girl gone bad". Let's not forget the extremely close call of Elliott Yamin's "One Word".

I'm not saying that these guys aren't good and that they haven't done other songs outside of these that have a completely different sound. They have and I can vouch for that. What I am saying is that most of these songs have been released as singles so you have heard them all over radio and television. The fact that they sound so similar to each other even to the point of using the same beat with some different melodies is kind of lame to me. Why are they recycling the same beat and only changing minor things about it? I know why, because most people who don't look at music the way I do seem to not even notice that this happens. I guess if you can get away with it, why not?

      "I'm just sayin"
