DMX recently revealed his plans for two new albums he plans to drop this year. Here's what he had to say:
"I [was] the first na to put out two albums in one year, now I'm gonna hit 'em again drop two albums on the same fin' day, yo," X said from his home in Arizona on Friday. "A double album will make mutha-as mad, because they gotta spend more money plus it's already a long album. I'm talking about a hip-hop album and a gospel album."
Combined, the project will be called 'Walk With Me Now' and 'You'll Fly With Me Later'."

Am I the only one that finds it ironic that he's talking about putting out a gospel album yet he's cursing all throughout this statement? I hear the album will be completely free of any vulgar language. Go figure.

EM.com is reporting that "Will.i.am may have been behind one of 2007's biggest hits, fellow Black Eyed Pea Fergie's triple-platinum The Dutchess, which he produced and released (via will.i.am Music Group, a division of A&M/Interscope), but Peas' ringleader saw less success with his own solo career.
Songs About Girls,
released Sept. 25 to lackluster sales (it charted at No. 38 with 21,000 copies sold and to date has moved 47,108 units), is now entirely M.I.A. from the charts, but Interscope hasn't given up on it yet. The label plans to re-release the record in early 2008 with three new tracks.
"We went with the wrong single and it sold nothing," a label insider admits. "We would've been in better shape if we had pulled the album, because to relaunch it is harder." Lesson learned -- and being put into practice with Interscope's recently pushed back Nicole Scherzinger album."
First off I highly doubt the problem with the album selling was the choice of single. I heard enough of songs to realize the lack of mass appeal on this album is the real reason.
Unless the 3 new songs are around the caliber of what he was able to do for Fergie, the release will surely re-flop. I'm still waiting to hear something great from Nicole as well, but I'm starting to loose faith in that project.
