Many of you may know Nicole Scherzinger as being the lead singer from the platinum selling group the Pussy Cat Dolls. Well clearly now she is trying to go solo with not much luck just yet. Her solo debut album was set to drop this year but now is being pushed back to give her more time in the studio because the singles are failing to catch the attention of the public. I find it funny that after the Pussy Cat Dolls first album she decides to do her own thing. Guess she jumped the gun on this one. Maybe she should take some tips from Beyonce and Destiny's Child. Check out this new song by Nicole, I think it's pretty evident why she hasn't quite made a buzz for herself, check out "Happily Never After".

New song by Brandy has just surfaced titled "What have you done for me" feat. a rapper by the name Riff Raff. Apparently the song is produced by my favorite producer Timbaland. Need I say more? The beat is a banger and Brandy definitely delievers like only she can with the beautiful vocal arrangements. Sounds like Timbaland is doing alot of production on her new album she's currently working on and if that is true then you know this album is going to be good! Look what he just recently did for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. Brandy is back and I'm lovin' it, now if we could get Monica to hook up with him.

Looks like Erykah Badu is back on the scene with a new track and a new album titled "The Kabah" set to be released on February 26, 2008. This new track is called "Honey" is said to be her first single from the album. I can't say that I'm too impressed with this song. The beat is decent and of course what she's talking about is obvious, but I don't see this being as big as some of her other songs that she's known for. Nevertheless it is something you can throw on while you're cleaning the house on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Alicia Keys has a new however you won't find this track on there. Apparently this is listed as an itunes bonus track. It's called "Waiting for your love" and compared to everything else I have heard on the cd, this would have been a better addition than some of the other songs. I might be the only one to catch this but for anyone that has seen Missy Elliott's "I'm really hot" video, remember when there was a break in the song and a dance broke out? Doesn't this beat sound like it came from there? If you don't know what I'm talking about check out the video here and scroll to about the 2:50 mark.

Britney Spears who just scored a #2 Billboard chart entry for her "Blackout" album is showing fans and critics alike that regardless to what is going on in her personal life, she still has staying power. Unfortunately this album did not sell as much in the first week has her past albums have. I actually like this track. It has a smooth vibe to it and eventhough she can't sing, she atleast sounds decent on this song. This is a bonus track that is said to be on the version that is being sold at Target. The song is called "Outta this world".
