    The Beat: New Music Reviews
Aaron gives his reviews on new songs that have recently surfaced.

New song from Britney Spears "Gimmie more remix" and although I wasn't a big fan of the original I think it is much better than this one. I really like the beat but a slower beat to this song doesn't really seem to work. I also don't like when all that is done is a new beat with the same lyrics and they call it a remix. A remix should be a complete new sound with a hint of the original.

I like both Maroon 5 and Mary J. Blige but I do not like the remix they did to "Wake up call" this song is just completely unappealing to me. That's all the bashing I'll do on this one.

Bow Wow and Omarion are coming out with an album together on titled Face Off which is set to be released on December 11, 2007. This new song titled "Hey Baby" is said to be off the upcoming album. Personally I'm not a fan of this song at all. I understand they are now stepping into young adulthood and are maturing as far as their sound and lyrics go but that's not the issue I take with this song. It's the annoying beat, the horribly used sample and the unnecessary record scratches that make this song a definite skip on the album.

I hear Kelly Rowland from Desntiny's Child is re-releasing her cd Ms. Kelly due to lack luster sales. Hearing the cd myself, this should have pretty much been expected. There was no good singles on that entire album and although I think Kelly is a good singer, she needs to team up with the right people who are more interested in moving her solo career forward. Here is a snippet of the song "Daylight" with Gym Class Heros that is said to be on the upcoming re-release. Compared to everything else I've heard from her, I really like the direction she took with this song. It's much different from the rest of her material but nice change I might add. I'm interested to see what the rest of it sounds like. My favorite line in the song "I'll be in 3 days like Paris' jail sentence".

    Nicole Scherzinger
is continuously promoting her new album to be released in 2008. As I stated before she has yet to put out a song that has created enough hype for the release of this album so it was reported that she was back in the studio working on new tracks. On her website you can find clips of 4 songs to vote on for her next single. In my opinion the one single worthy song is titled "Who's gonna love you". This is a guaranteed smash hit for her and from the looks of things so far the fans know what they're saying because this track is winning. It's a very hot song, I feel like my favorite producer Timbaland did the production on this, whether he did or not it is a very hot song.

Here's a new song from Rihanna that I haven't heard called "Who you gonna run to". Not sure if it's just an unreleased track that was cut from the album or is on some upcoming soundtrack or something me might be working on. The track is just ok to me. Personally I'm not a fan on Rihanna's voice at all so I find very few songs by her that my ears can tolerate. I like the song, I just don't like her singing on it.

New song by Usher featuring Pharrell called "Only one". From what I have been hearing from Usher lately, his new album is going to bomb if I don't hear something that can create the buzz like the singles off his last album. I'm sure the new album is gearing up to be release early 08' since so many songs are being leaked lately. Yet like me it seems like no one cares about Usher right now because nothing leaked is creating any kind of buzz for him. This song is boring and uninteresting just like Usher's music career right now.
